Sedu on the move

Vocational Education Centre Sedu has an extensive national and international cooperation network. The appreciated partnerships exist with different education providers, companies as well as other institutions of work life. nuoret_tytto_vaalea_kansio_2011.png

Vocational Education Centre Sedu offers its students and personnel a number of different ways to gain international experience. Student and staff exchanges are arranged through mobility programmes such as Erasmus+ and Nordplus, Nordic Council of Ministers’ programme of lifelong learning.

Vocational Education Centre Sedu is also implementing different types of development projects supported financially by EU programmes. The projects have concerned the development of teaching methods and materials and education products amongst other issues.

 

Quality in Mobility

In 2015 The Finnish National Agency for the Erasmus+ programme CIMO awarded Sedu with the Erasmus+ VET Mobility Charter for the period from 1.1.2016 to 31.12.2020. Mobility Charter logo.jpgThe VET Mobility Charter recognizes the high quality of previous mobility projects, the long-term commitment to continous improvement of mobility and the strategic approach of the organization to in corporate international mobility in its activities. Sedu has agreed to make every effort to ensure high quality in organizing VET Mobility according to the Eramus+ Programme Guide and the conditions laid down in the relevant grant agreement, learning agreements and quality commitment. 

We have cooperation in different parts of Europe, f.e. France, Spain, Sweden, Malta, Germany, Poland, Denmark, UK and Ireland - to name a few. Through national Network cooperation we are also doing mobilities to Uganda, Tansania, India and Nepal.
We are continuously looking forward to widening our international partner network.

126 Sedu students participated in a long term exchange (2 weeks or more)
 
69 students participated for short term exchanges (less than 2 weeks)

74 members of staff participated in an exchange abroad.

106 international students came to Sedu for their on-the-job- learning period.
