Guidance and Counselling Services

A Guidance Counsellor supports the students at all stages of their studies and every student is entitled to individualised counselling and guidance. At the beginning of the studies, a personal competence development plan is made for each student. The aim of the plan is to make it possible for each student to progress flexibly at their own pace and minimize the danger of dropping out. The guidance counsellors inform the students about further studies and employment as well.

The overall student welfare at Sedu is promoted by a multi-professional team, including guidance counsellors, school social workers and health care specialists. For students with special needs Sedu offers various support services, for example there is at least one special needs teacher working at each Sedu Campus.
